
Jessica Michelle Chastain was born on the 24th of March, 1977. She is an American producer, actress, and model. Her main focus is on films with feminist themes. she has won numerous awards such as an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. Time magazine named her one of the top 100 people on the planet in 2012. Chastain began acting in her early years. In 1998 she made her debut on stage as Shakespeare's Juliet. She was a student at the Juilliard School and was then hired to a talent-holding contract with John Wells, a television producer. She was a regular guest star in a number of TV shows and played roles in many stage productions. Chastain made her film debut with Jolene (2008) aged 31. She then went on to release six films in 2011, including The Tree of Life (2011) and Take Shelter (2011). She was nominated for Academy Award nominations as a character in The Help (2011), in which she played an aspirational socialite, and Zero Dark Thirty (2012) as an analyst for the CIA analyst. The science fiction films Interstellar (2014), The Martian (2015) and It Chapter Two (2018) were more commercially successful. Chastain was also praised for her performance as strong-willed females in the dramas A Most Violent Year (2014), Miss Sloane (2016) and Molly's Game (2017), and the miniseries for television Scenes from a Marriage (2021). In the role of Tammy Faye Bakker, she won the Academy Award for Best Actress as well as Tammy Wynette in The Eyes of Tammy Faye (21) and Tammy Wynette from The Eyes of Tammy-Faye. Chastain is the founder and investor in Freckle Films, a production company that promotes diversity in film. She has a strong voice on mental health issues, as well as gender and racial equality.
