There were commercials too as well as guest starring in films like Mutant X and Prom Queen: The Marc Hall Story. Goosebumps was also a aspect of her professional career. [2][12] In 2006, Vandervoort played her debut movie, The Lookout alongside Jeff Daniels, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Matthew Goode along with Isla Fisher. Vandervoort's TV career started with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She then landed the role as Clark Kent's Kryptonian Cousin "Kara Kent", (the woman who would become Supergirl) as part of The CW serial-drama series Smallville. The actress was a regular during season seven she also appeared on"Bloodline," the "Bloodline" episode of season eight. She returned to Smallville for two additional episodes throughout the last season and was also her tenth. After The CW, Vandervoort shot the sequel of the film Into the Blue titled Into the Blue 2 : The Reef. The Jazzman was her next independent film. The film also starred Canadian stars Michael Ironside and Corey Sevier.
