Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, born in Wellington,) is the name of a Canadian actress from Canada. Paquin is a native of New Zealand, born in Wellington but was born and raised in Winnipeg was first seen in the acting world on screen in The Piano. At age 11, she became the youngest Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin spelled out Anna Helene Paquin was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada on July 24,1982. The Canadian born actress is also a actress from New Zealand. In 1993 she won her first Academy Award at age 11 for playing the inquisitive and chatty girl who is the daughter of Holly Hunter who played the leading character. She portrayed teens as teens in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon (1998) as well as Almost Famous (2000). She also portrayed the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa.
