Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny, born February 3, 1950) is an American actress from America. The actress gained fame in the late 1970s and early 1980s with continuing roles in several television series where she typically presented a glamourous image. Fairchild's career began in 1973 as Jennifer Pace on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow. She played Jenna Wade in 1978, the first time a woman was able to do this. The following year, she was the lead in Flamingo Road (NBC), in which she was awarded the Golden Globe Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Television Series Drama. The show was a short run on ABC's show on primetime Paper Dolls and also for Falcon Crest in 1985-86 as Jordan Roberts. Fairchild is also an actor in theatre and has played on TV shows like Murphy Brown, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in Comedy Series. Fairchild is also a SAG-AFTRA board member.
