Sheryl is an American actor, comedian, TV presenter and best-known for her hosting of The Talk, a popular chat show on daytime. The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl lives in a family that is turbulent. She grew up taking care of her sibling Frankie. Frankie was a patient of polio. Growing up, she had an uneasy relationship to her maternal grandmother. Sheryl says that at one point she cut her father's hair due to his proximity. Sheryl became a military officer after graduating from the college. But her passion was comedy. She became the very first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She launched her TV job in the year 1992, being a regular actor on HBO's comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she hosted Oh Drama! Oh Drama! Presently, she is a guest co-host for the Talk talk show since 2011. In addition, she has a fictional role on series such Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
