Sheryl underwood is a stand-up comedian as well as a host on television and actor from the United States. She's best known for her work as The Talk's daytime co-host. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas in the area of Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. She was a troubled child. growing up taking care of her sister Frankie suffering from polio. When she was growing up she had numerous arguments between her mother and father. Sheryl stated that at one point her mother had stabbed an uncle of her daughter because she was getting closer to him. After her graduation from college, Sheryl was a soldier in the military. Her passion for the military was comedy. In 1989, she became the first woman to reach the top of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992, she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the television show Oh Drama! in 2000. Seit 2011, she is a cohost of the Talk show. In addition she has also played fictional roles in series like Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
